The Meadow rue 'Black Stockings' (Thalictrum aquilegifolium) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces pink-coloured flowers arranged in panicles from May to July. Its pinnate leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Meadow rue 'Black Stockings' is well tolerant of frost.
