Description
The White cedar 'Golden Tuffet' (Thuja occidentalis) is a tree or small shrub that grows in a conical, flat, spherical shape and usually reaches a height of around 80 cm and a width of around 1 metre. Its scale-like leaves are golden yellow in colour. Decorative cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Tuffet' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
