Description
The Lebensbaum 'Harvest Moon' (Thuja occidentalis) is a woody plant that grows in a rounded shape and usually reaches a height of around 60 cm and a width of around 60 cm. Its scale-like leaves are dark green in colour. They turn a beautiful bronze-yellow colour in winter. Decorative brown cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Harvest Moon' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
