Description
The White cedar 'Jantar' (Thuja occidentalis) is a shrub that grows conical, slender and usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and a width of approx. 60 cm. Its scale-like leaves are greenish-yellow in colour. Decorative brown cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Jantar' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
