Description
The White cedar 'Little Filly' (Thuja occidentalis) is a shrub that grows in a bizarre, compact form and usually reaches a height of around 90 cm and a width of around 60 cm. Its scale-like leaves are dark green in colour. In winter, they turn a beautiful bronze colour. Decorative brown cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Little Filly' from October onwards. This shrub is highly frost-tolerant. It prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position.
