Description
The White cedar 'Salland' (Thuja occidentalis) is a large shrub that grows upright and slender and usually reaches a height of around 3.5 metres and a width of around 10 cm. Its scale-like leaves have a medium green colour. Decorative cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Salland' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
