Description
The White cedar 'Teddy' (Thuja occidentalis) is a dwarf shrub that grows in a compact, rounded shape and usually reaches a height of around 50 cm and a width of around 40 cm. Its scale-like leaves are blue-green in colour. Decorative brown cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Teddy' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady location.
