Description
The White cedar 'Yellow Ribbon' (Thuja occidentalis) is a tree or large shrub that grows in a cone shape and usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and a width of around 1 metre. Its scale-like leaves are yellow in colour. Decorative cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Yellow Ribbon' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
