Description
The White cedar 'Aurea Nana' (Thuja occidentalis) is a tree that grows conical, upright, slender and usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its scale-like leaves are golden yellow in colour. They turn a beautiful golden yellow colour in winter. Decorative cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Aurea Nana' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
