Description
The Hiba 'Nana' (Thujopsis dolabrata) is a small shrub that grows in a compact, rounded shape and usually reaches a height of around 80 cm and a width of around 1 metre. Its scaly, leathery leaves are light green in colour. Decorative brown cones adorn Thujopsis dolabrata 'Nana' from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, humus-rich, sandy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Fruit
The brown, oval cones of Thujopsis dolabrata 'Nana' are particularly decorative. These appear from September and the young cones have a blue-green colour.
