Description
The Thyme 'Pygmaeus' (Thymus praecox) is a carpet-like, evergreen perennial that produces purple flowers arranged in whorls with a pleasant fragrance from July to August. Its egg-shaped leaves are green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 25 cm. The Thyme 'Pygmaeus' is well tolerant of frost.
