Description
The Thyme 'Red Carpet' (Thymus praecox) is a carpet-like, evergreen perennial that produces pink flowers arranged in whorls with a pleasant fragrance from June to July. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 20 cm. The Thyme 'Red Carpet' is well tolerant of frost.
