Description
The Silberlinde 'Szeleste' (Tilia tomentosa) is an ovoid, slender large tree that produces yellow flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance. They appear in July. Light brown, oval nuts emerge from these from October. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Silberlinde 'Szeleste' also has roundish, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark grey and smooth. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres and grows to a width of around 15 metres.
