Description
The Western hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla) is a tree that grows in a conical shape and usually reaches a height of around 35 metres and a width of around 15 metres. Its needle-shaped, shiny leaves are dark green in colour. Decorative light brown cones adorn Tsuga heterophylla from September. This shrub tolerates frost well. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a semi-shady, sheltered position.

Care

- Watering less frequently, but thoroughly and thoroughly, encourages the plant roots to penetrate deeper into the soil. This helps the plant to survive periods of drought.
