The Tulip 'Shogun' (Tulipa praestans) produces attractive, orange-coloured, pleasantly fragrant flowers from April to May. It prefers a well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny position. The compact plant usually reaches a height of 10 - 15 cm and grows up to 10 cm wide.
