Description
The Elm 'Sapporo Autumn Gold'(s) (Ulmus) is a funnel-shaped small tree that produces purple-red flowers arranged in umbels. They appear in March. These produce brown, flat winged fruits from May. The Elm 'Sapporo Autumn Gold'(s) also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. The green-red shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is silver-grey and smooth. In a sunny to semi-shady location with loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 18 metres.
