Description
With its red-brown leaf colouring, the Red hook sedge 'Everflame' (Uncinia rubra) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns containers on balconies or terraces with its overhanging growth. The red flower fronds adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with a well-drained, loose soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
