Description
The Swamp blueberry 'Bluegold' (Vaccinium corymbosum) produces blue berries. These have a sweet-tart flavour. For a bountiful harvest from mid-July onwards, humus-rich, sandy, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to semi-shaded position provide the ideal conditions. Its pale pink flowers are a lovely sight. With its bushy, upright growth habit, the Swamp blueberry 'Bluegold' reaches a height of around 1.5 m and a width of 80 cm, making it ideal for growing in pots on a balcony or terrace.
