Description
The Swamp blueberry 'Blue Jay' (Vaccinium corymbosum) produces blue berries. These are firm and sweet and sour in flavour. Humus-rich, sandy, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from July. Its light pink flowers are a beautiful sight. With its bushy growth, the Swamp blueberry 'Blue Jay' grows to around 1.5 m high and 1 m wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
