Description
The Swamp blueberry 'Brigitta Blue' (Vaccinium corymbosum) produces very large, black-blue berries. These have a sweet-tart flavour. For a bountiful harvest from early August onwards, humus-rich, sandy, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to semi-shaded position provide the ideal conditions. Its pale pink flowers are a lovely sight. With its bushy, upright growth habit, the Swamp blueberry 'Brigitta Blue' reaches a height of around 1.2 m and a width of 60 cm, making it ideal for growing in pots on a balcony or terrace.
