Description
The Swamp blueberry 'Heerma' (Vaccinium corymbosum) produces blue berries. These have a tart flavour. For a bountiful harvest from mid-August onwards, humus-rich, sandy, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to semi-shaded position provide the ideal conditions. Its pale pink flowers are a beautiful sight. With its bushy, upright growth habit, the Swamp blueberry 'Heerma' reaches a height of around 90 cm and a width of 1.7 m, making it ideal for growing in pots on a balcony or terrace.
