Description
The Azores blueberry 'Blautropf'® (Vaccinium cylindraceum) produces dark blue berries. These are sweet and sour in flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from June. Its green-white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its bushy and compact growth, the Azores blueberry 'Blautropf'® grows to around 50 cm high and 50 cm wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
