Description
The Cranberry 'Big Pearl' (Vaccinium macrocarpon) produces crimson berries. These have a tart flavour. For a bountiful harvest from September onwards, humus-rich, sandy, acidic, moist to wet soil and a sunny to semi-shaded position provide the ideal conditions. Its pale pink flowers are a delight to behold.

Leaves
The evergreen leaves of the Cranberry 'Big Pearl' are medium green, lanceolate, leathery and alternate. They are about 0.5 - 1.5 cm in size. With its bronze-coloured foliage, it sets beautiful accents in winter.
