Description
The Common valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is an upright perennial that forms light pink flowers arranged in umbels from May to July. Its pinnate, toothed leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.7 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm.
