Description
The Broussa mullein (Verbascum bombyciferum) is an upright, winter-green perennial with decorative, hairy, lanceolate, silvery leaves. It bears yellow, rake-shaped flowers from July to August. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Broussa mullein is well tolerant of frost.
