Description
The Argentinian vervain (Verbena bonariensis) is an upright, winter-green perennial that forms magenta-coloured flowers arranged in umbels from July to October. Its lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm.
