Description
The Culver's root (Veronicastrum virginicum) is an upright perennial that produces light blue, ray-shaped flowers arranged in racemes from July to August. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.6 m and is approx. 1 m wide. The Culver's root is well tolerant of frost.
