Description
The Burkwood viburnum (Viburnum x burkwoodii) is a broad, loose shrub that produces white flowers arranged in umbels with a strong fragrance. They appear from April to May. With the right care, the Burkwood viburnum will flower again in December. These produce black, round fruits from July. They exude a strong fragrance. The Burkwood viburnum also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3.5 metres and is around 3.5 metres wide.
