Description
The Fragrant snowball (Viburnum carlcephalum) is a loose, roundish shrub that produces white flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. These produce black-red, round fruits from July. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Fragrant snowball also has hairy, egg-shaped, medium green leaves. Its bark is dark brown and flaking. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to a width of around 2.5 metres.

Leaves
The deciduous leaves of the Fragrant snowballs are medium green, ovate, hairy and opposite. They are about 6 - 12 cm in size. Fragrant snowball is bright orange-yellow to red in autumn.
