Description
The Guelder rose (Viburnum opulus) is a sprawling, loose, large shrub with decorative, red fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters from May to June. The Guelder rose also has roundish, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with calcareous, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
