Description
The Japanese snowball 'Opening Day' (Viburnum plicatum) is a rounded shrub that produces white, ball-shaped flowers arranged in umbels with a strong fragrance. They appear in May. The Japanese snowball 'Opening Day' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
