Description
The Japanese snowball 'Summer Snowflake' (Viburnum plicatum) is a rounded shrub that produces white flowers arranged in umbels with a strong fragrance. They appear from May to June. These produce black-red fruits. They exude a strong fragrance. The Japanese snowball 'Summer Snowflake' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark grey. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
