Description
The Japanese snowball 'Watanabe' (Viburnum plicatum) is an upright, broad, roundish small shrub that produces white flowers arranged in umbels with a strong fragrance. They appear from July to August. With the right care, the Japanese snowball 'Watanabe' blooms again from October to November. These produce black-red, oval fruits. They exude a strong fragrance. The Japanese snowball 'Watanabe' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.8 metres.
