Description
The Laurustinus 'Purpurea' (Viburnum tinus) is an upright, broad shrub with decorative, blue-grey, oval fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces pink-white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters from March to April. With the right care, the Laurustinus 'Purpurea' will flower again in November. The Laurustinus 'Purpurea' also has glossy, lanceolate, green-red leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres.
