Description
The Horned violet (Viola cornuta) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces yellow, lilac, pink, rose or red flowers with a pleasant fragrance from April to June. Repeated flowering occurs from September to October with the right care. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The Horned violet is well tolerant of frost.
