Description
The Horned violet 'Molly Sanderson' (Viola cornuta) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces black flowers with a pleasant fragrance from April to August. Repeated flowering occurs from September to October with the right care. Its leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and grows to a width of approx. 20 cm. The Horned violet 'Molly Sanderson' is well tolerant of frost.
