Description
The Weigela 'Nana Purpurea' (Weigela florida) is a bushy, upright, dense, deciduous large shrub with decorative, egg-shaped, dark red leaves. It also bears pink-red, funnel-shaped flowers from May to June. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.4 metres.
