Description
The Weigela (Weigela middendorffiana) is a bushy, upright, overhanging small shrub that produces light yellow, funnel-shaped flowers. They appear from May to June. The Weigela also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres.
