Description
The Spoonleaf Yucca (Yucca filamentosa) is a clump-forming, winter-green perennial with decorative, lanceolate, grey-green leaves. From August to September, it bears creamy white, bell-shaped flowers arranged in panicles. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.4 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1 metre. The Spoonleaf Yucca is well tolerant of frost.
