Description
The Japan pepper (Zanthoxylum piperitum) is a shrub-like garden plant that produces creamy white flowers. They appear from May to June. These produce red fruits from August. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and is around 2 metres wide.
