Description
The Japanese zelkova 'Fastigiata' (Zelkova serrata) is a spreading, broad, columnar large tree that produces green-brown flowers. They appear from April to May. The Japanese zelkova 'Fastigiata' also has pinnate, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey and scaly. In a sunny to semi-shady location with nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.
