Description
The Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a perennial that forms orange-red flowers arranged in spikes. Its lanceolate leaves are light green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre.
