Description
The Galangal (Alpinia galanga) is a very popular, winter-green tub plant. Its decorative flowers appear in June. The dark green leaves are lanceolate. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich and nutrient-rich soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Galangal reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows up to 1 m wide.
