Description
With its dark green leaf colouring and green stems, Fountain-bamboo 'Xiang 2' (Fargesia denudata) is a decorative design element in the garden. What makes it special, apart from its bushy, broad and overhanging form, is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers semi-shady locations with humus-rich, slightly acidic soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 3.5 m and grows up to 3 m wide.
