Description
The American ash 'Cimmzam' (Fraxinus pennsylvanica) is an ovoid tree that produces purple-violet flowers. They appear from April to May. The American ash 'Cimmzam' also has matt, pinnate, medium green leaves. Its bark is brown and deeply fissured. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 metres and grows to a width of approx. 8 metres.
