Description
The Stern's hybrid hellebore 'Silver Shadow' (Helleborus x sternii) is an upright, evergreen perennial with decorative, leathery, palmate, toothed, dark green leaves with silver-white edges. It bears light lilac-coloured, cupped flowers from July to August. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Stern's hybrid hellebore 'Silver Shadow' is well tolerant of frost.
