Description
The Plantain lily 'Gold Standard' (Hosta x fortunei) is an upright, bushy, broad perennial with decorative, lanceolate, whole-margined, yellow-green leaves. It bears purple-coloured flowers from August to September. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Plantain lily 'Gold Standard' is well tolerant of frost.
