Description
The Rough-leaved hydrangea (Hydrangea aspera) is a shrub that produces purple flowers. They appear from July to August. The Rough-leaved hydrangea also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to a width of around 2.5 metres.
