Description
The Hortensie 'BloomStruck'® (Hydrangea macrophylla) is a dense, compact small shrub that produces blue-violet or pink-red, ball-shaped flowers. They appear from June to October. The Hortensie 'BloomStruck'® also has egg-shaped, dark green, red-veined leaves. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.

Care

Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only produce pink flowers. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.
