Description
The Apple 'Hopa' (Malus x astringens) is a bushy, broad tree with decorative, orange-red, round fruits. These are small. It produces purple-coloured flowers in May. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.
